Scott Makes Games


Scott is a creative game developer, working as creative director and product manager at studios in California, Ukraine, and Israel. For almost a decade he has served at the crossroads of engineering, art, and product, working with some of the best in the industry to release games for Steam, xBox, iOS, and web.

His experience with design, programming, and art for games, and knowing how these pieces fit together, helps him develop memorable IP, keep your projects on track and ensure you are creating the best possible product with your given resources.

He currently has an eye on the horizon for new opportunities to help create amazing games with top-calibur people.

Sky Wars: Archon Rises

An MMO strategy game now on the App Store. 7 Elements formed a new studio in Tel Aviv to help bring this game to life and worked with some of the best people in the business such as Skaff Elias, Stanley Lau, Peter Mohrbacher, and more.

StandPoint

A first-person puzzle platformer where the player controls the direction of gravity to navigate the 5 stages of grief, while dodging lasers and solving puzzles. Available on Steam and XBox. Gabe and Tycho of Penny Arcade called it 'cool as shit.'

Torchlight: Aegis Maps

I created a substantial amount of original content for Torchlight and Torchlight II. They are available on the Steam Workshop and have been integrated into many merge mods.

My goal was for them to mimic Runic Games' natural style and quality, that they could easily have been part of the packaged game. They included many new levels, enemies, bosses, skills, and items.

God of Axion:

A real-time browser-based strategy MMO released in 2012. Had a small but incredibly loyal player base. To quote one of our players: 'One of the best MMORTS games on the internet. If you like Evony or those types of games this is going to be your game. Lots of features, focus is not on farming, and the devs listen to the players. One of those rare gems out there.'
